Hi. I’m Barney, I run a site for collectors. I define a collector as someone who gathers things of intrinsic value to them, who may also want to meet other people ‘cut of the same cloth’. Sometimes people are actually collectors of many things without really realising it, and the site is definitely for them too. That’s kind of like me. I have about twenty bands I really like, mingled in with a few hundred other CDs. I have half a dozen fountain pens I treasure, and am always interested to look around to find… maybe one more. And then there’re things I never knew existed – like a Superman stamp put out by Canada Post (I want one of these by the way, if anyone reading this has one, I’d like to hear from you).
That’s where Kollecta comes in.
Kollecta is a great site. I am admittedly biased, but I’m still going to say it’s great, because I think it is. I hope you do, or at least check it out. (Kollecta.com). It’s not perfect, however, because I don’t know everything. That’s where you – the world – comes in. I’d love to hear from you on how, why, when, where the site does it and doesn’t do it for you.
